We are a team of young professionals and students and act as a platform for first time fundraisers to raise awareness and funds through the things they love such as dance, singing, music and fitness. We aim to provide a support fund for medical and educational staff, in the hope that we can make a difference by aiding in the purchase of tools and equipment so the staff can better serve the patients and students respectively.
In 2014 stem cell donor drives were held across the UK raising more than £7,000 for Delete Blood Cancer and getting more than 600 people signed up to the stem cell donor database. The Happy to Help team predominantly made up of dancers have continued to perform at the highest level, whilst aiding in our mission to raise awareness completing the Spartan Run trifecta, the British 10km and Tough Mudder.
In addition to the above Gurpal Singh Hunjan, the founder of Happy to Help, completed a 10 day Trek along the Great Wall of China in October 2014 and another 10 day trek along the Inka Trail to Machu Picchu in October 2015 raising £2,363.98, and £3,010 respectively for Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children and Help For Heroes in attempt to raise awareness in any way possible.
We would like to make as many young adults, professionals and organisations aware of Happy to Help, and believe that we as a community worldwide can increase the exposure to the fund and our team primarily to inspire others to join in, or to donate and support.
